Apply to be a mentee and/or mentor for WISAY's Mentoring Program
If you would like to apply to be a mentor and/or mentee, please fill out this form by Wednesday, September 23rd. As always, we will do our best to match you with a compatible mentor/mentee! If you already have a mentee/mentor and wish to continue your mentoring relationship, please still fill out the form so we can keep track of all pairs.
Applications to take part in the Women in Science at Yale (WISAY) Mentoring Program for the 2020-2021 school year are now available!
As in past years, we will have mentoring on two levels: graduate students mentoring undergrads and post-docs mentoring graduate students. Graduate students are free to sign up for both programs. Studies find that having female mentors increase women scientists’ sense of voice in their academic departments, leading to greater job satisfaction, and that women who have had female mentors get more grants and publications later in their careers.
Mentors and mentees will decide together how often meetings take place, and what the focus of the mentoring relationship will be. WISAY will provide some structured events, including a mandatory mentoring workshop in late October.
For more information on the mentoring program please visit our webpage http://wisay.sites.yale.edu/mentoring or email us at wisay@yale.edu with any questions.

For any students interested in VC, apply to Dorm Room Fund— the original, largest, and most active student-powered VC fund, backed by First Round Capital. We provide founders with a strong network of investors, world-class mentors, and a $20,000 check. We're looking to find the best new Investment Partners and a Head of Engineering for our team.

We also support diverse founders and investors through initiatives including the Female Founder Track and the Blueprint Project. In the past few years our student partners have gone on to be VCs at First Round, Sequoia, and Floodgate, as well as started amazing companies like Ubiquity6, The League, and others.
We look forward to getting to know you — the next wave of visionary investors, founders, and operators— better!
Mozilla’s Fix-The-Internet Incubator
We're looking to invest in people, projects, and technologies that shape the internet and have a positive impact without having to only worry about the bottom line. Firefox, Wikipedia, Wordpress, DuckDuckGo, Kickstarter, GitHub, Node.js, and Ethereum are some of our favorite examples of the internet at its best. We’ve done it before. We're going to build 1000 more.
